DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION
We are going to begin with a physical training: it is an intense warm-up during which it is a question of reaching, by an overtaking of one self, , a state of opening, a particular availability. The training also mobilizes the imagination to go beyond the movement. Concretely we will do simple small jumps followed by the dynamic exercises engaging the whole body. The effort is important, it is muscular, sweaty, but at the end something more subtle, of meta-physical appears. The produced energy is shared and a synergy within the group builds up itself.
The training is extended by improvisations in dance : in the beginning each dancer explores alone. We will enter, by an active relaxation a state of 'letting go' and begin to move from this state. The experience can be situated at the various levels (physical, sensory, emotional, mental), the atmosphere is intimate and the focus turned inwards. In this exercises we will be discovering our potential, widening the consciousness and the perception of the space. In other exercises, the presence of the leader or the partner will oblige us to establish a relation, to express oneself and so to formulate the lived experience in a scenic expression.
In the second part we are going to direct the attention to the physical space, we are going to observe the interior of certain spaces of Au Quai building. Every participant will choose a place where he / she will compose a scene / choreographic painting, being inspired by a mythical character (information to be followed), by using his creative potential and organicity. Based on the movement, the physical actions or the manipulation of object, the composition can be repeated with precision. The costume and the place as the scenography will intervene from the beginning. The relation to the spectator will be also defined.
